Physical complaints can be experienced in very different ways. Sometimes they arise suddenly; sometimes they develop over a longer period of time. They are often accompanied by the feeling that movement is restricted and that change seems difficult to access. In my work, I often experience that change becomes possible where movement can be experienced again.
Osteopathy works with this movement – in the tissues, within the nervous system, and in the interplay between different body systems. This perspective shapes my therapeutic work.
My approach is influenced not only by my osteopathic training but also by my own Vipassana practice. It sharpens my awareness of perception, subtle changes, and the importance of presence within the therapeutic setting. In bringing these two approaches together, a shared attitude emerges: to observe attentively without intervening prematurely and to give the body space for its own regulation.
For me, the holistic approach of Osteopathy means considering the different levels that may contribute to recovery. It is not about viewing symptoms in isolation but about making connections visible and developing together an understanding of one’s own bodily experience.
I am a state-licensed „Heilpraktiker“ and completed my Bachelor’s degree at the Osteopathie Schule Deutschland.
