The responsible person is the natural or legal person who alone determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data on this website.
Right to Information, Erasure and Rectification
You have the right at any time to obtain information about, request deletion of, or request correction of the personal data processed via this website. To exercise these rights, please contact the responsible person in writing so that your request can be processed.
Right to Lodge a Complaint with Supervisory Authorities
In the event of violations of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), affected persons have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Right to Restriction of Processing
If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally require time to verify this. During the review period, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data. If the processing of your personal data was or is unlawful, you may request restriction of processing instead of deletion. If we no longer require your personal data, but you need it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of processing instead of deletion. If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Article 21(1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
Data Retention
All data processed on this website is stored and processed for the periods provided for under the GDPR. After expiry of the applicable retention period, the data will be irrevocably deleted. If there is a legitimate reason for deletion, data may be deleted before the expiry of the retention period. You may also withdraw your consent to data processing at any time. In such cases, further processing of the personal data is no longer permitted, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under tax or commercial law) apply.
SSL / TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of content and enquiries, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption in accordance with GDPR requirements. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “http” or “https” prefix in your browser’s address bar. When encryption is activated, transmitted data cannot be read or intercepted by third parties.
Notice on Data Transfers to Third Countries
When using tools such as Google Maps, data may be transferred to third countries such as the United States or other non-EU countries. Please note that an equivalent level of data protection cannot be guaranteed in these countries. It cannot therefore be excluded that data may be accessed by governmental authorities or other data processing organisations. I have no influence over these processing activities.
Withdrawal of Consent
Most data processing operations are only possible with your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal must be submitted in writing (by email or post) to the responsible person. After withdrawal, further processing of the affected data is no longer permitted.
Contact Form
If you submit enquiries via the contact form, the information provided in the form, including the contact details you enter, will be stored on my servers or on those of the web host. The processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time. In all cases, processing is based on my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to me (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), where such consent has been requested. The data you enter in the contact form will remain stored until you request deletion, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected.
